The Junior Technician with oversight by the Engineering Manager is responsible for supporting the Engineering and Operations teams.

Main duties:

Assist in the documentation and analysis of the mechanical assembly process, tooling, operational methods and throughput and tact times suggesting alternatives and improvements.
This position will entail projects in both the shop floor and office work environments.
Other duties as assigned

Language Requirements:

The ability to read and write in either English or French is required.
Fully bilingual English/French would be considered an asset.

Skills and requirements

Education (minimum):

DEC in an applicable discipline (Engineering, Industrial, Mechanical Technologies, etc.)
Meticulous and detail oriented
Strong work ethic and a passion for excellence
Strong organizational, analytical, problem solving
Knowledge of programming languages and automation
Proven experience with Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor an asset
Previous automation experience an asset

Fully bilingual

English/French (spoken/written) an asset
