Key Responsibilities:


eCommerce Content Remediation

  • Address internal rejections for eCommerce content to ensure 100% accuracy and compliance with GS1 Canada Standards ;
  • Deal with an extensive scope of products to remediate due to the overall low quality provided by the thirdparty partner while maintaining elite level of attention to details thus delivering a seamless result to GS1 subscribers ;
  • Work with Data Quality Advisors and Supervisor to identify and address recurring misidentification of errors and advise when additional training is needed for Coordinators ;
  • Keep track of each remediation performed and isolate critical errors for third party and/or internal team education ;

eCommerce Data Validation

  • Support with the review and approval of the eCommerce data attributes captured to ensure 100% accuracy and complete data is scraped. Ensure the consistency of quality provided by the 3rd party vendor;
  • Ensure Canadian regulations are maintained with respect to Nutritional, Pharmaceutical, and other regulated packaging information;
  • Tracking subscriber data capture requests to ensure specific guidelines are consistently followed.

Special Projects & Tasks

  • Assist with daily reporting and assignment of daily workload, as required ;
  • Assist in onboarding and training of new team members ;
  • Responsible for ongoing comprehensive training of the thirdparty provider, participating in the 1:1 supervision of their team members ;
  • Support the development, updating and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process maps, as well as additional documents as required ;
  • Support with various other projects and tasks as assigned by the Supervisor ;

eCommerce Content Capture

  • Responsible for the content capture and verification of the eCommerce data attributes to aim at 100% accuracy and completeness of the scraped data ;
  • Maintain an elite level of attention to details thus delivering a seamless result to GS1 subscribers, cutting the number of steps twofold and cycle time required threefold compared to Third-Party partner workflow ;
  • Provide recommendations for enhancements and amendments to address systemic and process inefficiencies.

Defining success in this role

  • Provide recommendations for enhancements and amendments to address systemic and process inefficiencies ;
  • Understand the Canadian market and provides recommendations to optimize data quality standards for the Canadian market ;
  • Perform at an optimal level and contribute positively to the teams KPIs ;
  • Ensure zero closing strategy: i.e. remediation queue maintained to zero at end of day.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:


  • College Diploma/Degree ;
  • 13 years' related experience with initial and Ongoing training ;


  • English/French

  • Bilingual ;
  • Performance or supervision of multiple activities which are specific as to objective and content. There is a requirement to interact with coworkers and maintain an awareness of related activities ;
  • Thinking within multiple, substantially different procedures, standards and precedents and/or access to assistance ;
  • Operating within standardized practices and procedures, general work instructions and supervision of progress and results.
