IT Coordinator - Nepean, Canada - CFT Group
Description
Purpose:
The IT Coordinator is responsible for supporting the CFT Group Information Technology Infrastructure, and providing IT support services to all staff.
The position requires someone who is a team player, self-directed with the ability to thrive in a changing environment and has a desire to help people solve their technology issues.
Good communication and some leadership skills are essential in this role.Responsibilities:
- Provide IT support to all CFT Group staff, including the executive management team.
- Set up, monitor and maintain all Company computers, office machinery, and mobile phones.
- Administration and maintenance of gate security access system.
- Troubleshoot and triage computer and network failures and serve as liaison with external consultants.
- Identify Company's computer needs and assist with the purchase and installation of approved equipment and software.
- Maintain CFT Group electronic files, records, and archives and ensure that all electronic files are backed up regularly.
- Assist in the development of IT procedures and policies.
- Be thoroughly familiar with, and ensure adherence to, pertinent legislation, regulations, guidelines, CFT Group policies, procedures and processes.
- Maintain IT documentation procedures, standards, best practices, settings, installation sequences and backout instructions.
- Maintain inventory of installed software, hardware, manage software licensing, IT assets and follow proper procedure for the disposal of electronic assets.
- Assist with other projects and tasks as required.
- Emergency Operations support as assigned.
Qualifications
- A diploma or certificate in computer information systems, IT support, network administration or significant relevant experience.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in information technology, database management, computer, and network support.
- Experience using Google Docs and various industry specific software including CRM, ScrapIT, and Fleetio is an asset.
- Experience setting up workstations.
- Professional working proficiency in spoken and written English is required; bilingualism is an asset.
- Expertise configuring and managing Apple iOS and Android devices.
- Strong analysis, troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
- Strong understanding of information technology tools and concepts.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills working with technical and nontechnical personnel at various levels in the organization.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
- Employment is conditional upon providing a clean police criminal check.
- Employment is conditional upon the ability to perform a variety of physically demanding tasks safely.
- Employee may be required to be available to respond to afterhours emergencies.
- Employee may be required to work evening, holiday and weekend shifts.
- Employment is conditional upon maintaining confidentiality of CFT information.
Salary:
- $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 annually
Salary:
$40,045.18-$81,356.11 per year
