The
Student Admissions Advisor is often the first point of contact for our prospective students and shapes the first impression of Robertson College.

SAAs demonstrate professionalism through prompt contact, knowledgeable responses and respectful interactions.


The Student Admission Advisor should have a friendly, energetic and positive approach to new leads that portrays the college and our programs in the best possible light.


Outbound calling efforts to individuals who have indicated an interest in the College is a key component of this role, and making a telephone connection with a prospective student is expected for all leads.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Contact prospective students in timely manner after they request information or contact the college and follow the lead policy guidelines.
  • Provide program information, routine guidance and assistance to potential students on matters related to enrollment and the admissions process
  • Will observe and adhere to all Company policies and best practices and comply with related governmental regulations.
  • Ensure all required documentation is in place before recruiting students, this includes (but is not limited to) valid ID verification, necessary transcripts, diplomas, certificates & compliance documents required for the program.
  • Ensure all students meet program requirements before starting them in a program. This includes verification of their required English proficiency depending on their chosen program.
  • Ensure all students understand what is required of them to start a program, including immunization records, First Aid/CPR, Child abuse registry check (where needed) and criminal record checks,
  • Administrating correct college approved entrance assessments to students who are admitted under mature students status.
  • Be aware of their own annual targets and current KPIs, or request these numbers from their manager if they do not know them
  • The SAA must support students as needed before, during and after the admissions process.
  • Participate in campaign strategies as proposed by management
  • Other duties as assigned

Must Haves:
(Required Experience)


  • Minimum 5 years sales experience automotive sales, mortgage broker/real estate, high profile sales (account managers/recruiters), commission based sales.
  • Proof of sales experience is considered an asset
  • Excellent skills in attention to detail, effective communication: both written and verbal, strong interpersonal, analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Experience with CRM a strong asset
