As a Bartender, a typical day might include the following:

  • Taking orders, answering menu and beverage inquiries, explaining daily features, placing orders with kitchen while following all standards
  • Quality checking both food and drinks prior to service delivery
  • Processing bills and taking payment, cash reconciliation at the end of shift
  • Using restaurant POS system to submit member orders

To land this role you need to have;

  • Minimum of 1 years' experience in a quickservice environment
  • Minimum of 1 years' experience serving and/or bartending
  • Proficient computer skills including but not limited to: POS, inventory software, Excel and Word
  • Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays based on business needs
  • Postsecondary education relating to the health and fitness industry and additional certifications or workshops relating to customer service are an asset.
  • CPR/First Aid certification (required to have a minimum of Emergency First Aid and CPR certification) required prior to start date and must be maintained throughout employment. CPR is to be renewed annually
  • All team members must provide a recent Criminal Background Check prior to commencement of training and/or work
  • Experience in a new restaurant opening considered an asset
  • Food Safety Course and W.H.M.I.S. considered and asset
