The National Life, Disability & Wellness Team is looking for a self-motivated Bilingual CPP/QPP Analyst, who thrives on delivering value, is customer-obsessed, and excited to work with a small yet dynamic team.
They will have good understanding of Canada Pension Plan / Quebec Pension Plan and its impact on disability benefits as well as strong mathematical and negotiation skills.
Responsibilities
- Calculate and code the CPP/QPP offset and adjusted LTD benefit in Navigator upon receipt of CPP/QPP disability or retirement benefit approval.
- Inform Plan Member of the overpayment amount with clear explanations.
- Followup with Plan Member and/or Service Canada/ Retraite Quebec for reimbursement of overpayment and negotiate an acceptable repayment plan when necessary.
- Proceed with claim recoveries in Navigator
- Determine if utilization of the services of an external CPP Advocate is warranted.

We are looking for someone with:
- Bilingual in
French/English is required as 80% of the work is in French - Strong customer service focus; ability to be empathetic while delivering sometimes difficult messages
- Strong math skills
- Very comfortable with Office 365; most notably Excel and Word
- Experience with Navigator is an asset
- Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written.
- Strong negotiation skills
- A capacity for constant learning from both success and failure
- Open to change and continuous improvement
Nice to Haves:
- Experience in disability benefit calculations is helpful
- Knowledge of Canada Pension Plan and Quebec Pension plan legislation preferred
On the job you will:
- Collaborate with the CPP Senior Disability Administrator and Case Management teams to strengthen financial results.
- Work closely with other colleagues to prioritize work especially during peak times (end of year)
- Establish good working relationships with Service Canada and Retraite Québec agents to facilitate our work
- Balance Doing the Right Thing for our customer but also the organization.

Salary & Benefits
The annual base salary for this role in the primary location of CAN, Quebec - Full Time Remote is expected to be between $38,625.00 CAD - $64,375.00 CAD.
