Job duties and responsibilities:


  • Call customers and confirm time for next day delivery;
  • Call customer when pickup orders are ready to be picked up;
  • Update status of loads sheets with confirmed and rescheduled deliveries;
  • Populate and maintain accuracy of the Dispatch Schedule and assigned trailers;
  • Prepare documents, serve customers and contact yard staff for order pickups;
  • Coordinates the activities of drivers and maintenance workers when reviewing repairs needed for trailers;
  • Monitor loaded trailers (number of days), keeping an average on 5 days;
  • Resolve issues with drivers as needed;
  • Send export BOLs to the branch fabricating the load;
  • Create BOLs for next day deliveries;
  • Create Sales Orders for next day deliveries;

Requirements:


  • Minimum of One (1) year of experience in an logistics position;
  • Knowledge of Excel; able to work in a Google environment;
  • Multitasking;
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • Minimum High school or equivalent diploma;
