We are currently recruiting for a self-motivated, responsible, and skilled individual to perform essential capital replacement work on our Capital Construction team.

Working remotely onsite with five co-workers, you will install and construct large diameter water, storm and sanitary mains and operate, maintain, clean, test, repair and adjust fire hydrants, pumps and related equipment.

You will also repair or replace water, sanitary and storm services and perform maintenance and routine repair of roads, streets, boulevards, and pedestrian walkways.

A grade 12 education and considerable related work experience, such as mainline construction experience, is essential for this position


Training and/or experience in:
confined space, traffic control, and safe work procedures while excavating are considered assets. A valid Class 5 BC Driver's License is required.


The rate of pay for this CUPE position is $32.70 per hour and is based on a 40 hour work week.

This position also offers a comprehensive benefits package and an earned day off program.

Applicants under consideration may be required to undergo a police security clearance evaluation (with no adverse reports).
