Aaron Gao

I am a recent Computer Science graduate and have completed my degree at the University of Calgary. I have a passion for programming. Through my coursework and personal projects, I have gained experience in web and Android application development using a variety of programming languages, including Java, Typescript, and Javascript. I am excited about the prospect of contributing my technical skills and experience to a team and continuing to grow and learn in the field of software development.

The main programming languages I use consist of Java, Javascript, html, C++, and Python. It has allowed me to create several projects including android and web based applications. 

In addition to my programming experience while studying at the University of Calgary, I have also been working as an academic tutor in Mathematics, Science, and English since February 2020. The students I have taught are mainly studying middle school and high school curriculum. As a result I have demonstrated strong communication skills and increased your problem-solving abilities by adapting to the different academic problems assigned by the clients.

I am also volunteering in community work VP Student Engagements for the Competitive Programming Club at the University of Calgary. I have begun on September 2022 and have been partaking in programming events, weekly programming algorithm problems and advertisements. It has allowed me to develop your knowledge of different data structures and algorithms, used various online platforms to advertise programming events, and assessed the time complexity of programming topics to write optimized code.
