Logistics Generalist /Forklift Operator/Supervisor/Container depot receiver

• Handling diverse logistical and operational functions relating to effiently receiving shipping containes (rail and road) of various goods to international consumer markets,
• Taking and labeling grain samples for quality inspection, 
• Operating forklift to load totes of grains, recycling papers, pulp bales, etc. into containers before shipment,
• Overseeing heavy equipment, loading gear and platforms,
• Supervising teams of six to eight , up to 40 containers (30,000 kilograms gross tonnage) per shift,
• Coordinating the movement of trucks, flow of traffic in the yard,
• Supporting dispatching in the office as needed,
• Inspecting physically each container entering the yard (100 to 150 containers per day).
• Entering the container data into the company’s internal system,
• Ensuring customer service with truck drivers.
