Hi! I’m Abishek Prabaharan, a second-year Mathematics student at the University of Waterloo, pursuing a career in the finance and insurance industry.

At Experior Financial Group, I analyzed client financial profiles and risk factors to design personalized insurance solutions that improved coverage suitability and increased policy adoption rates. I developed Excel-based tracking models that reduced processing time and enhanced reporting accuracy, while guiding clients toward optimal plans that aligned with their long-term financial goals — achieving over 95% client satisfaction.

B&P Consulting - Financial Analyst Intern (June 2024 – September 2024)
During my internship at B&P Consulting, I supported accounting and financial operations for multiple clients by preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable/receivable, and processing HST returns. I created Excel tools for budgeting and variance analysis that streamlined workflows and reduced reporting time by over 30%. I also ensured accurate capital asset tracking and reporting, contributing to more efficient financial decision-making.

Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Mathematics with a concentration in Actuarial Science, developing strong foundations in statistics, probability, financial mathematics, and risk modeling.
