Adel Al-Waily is a Canadian Civil Structure Geotechnical Engineer, holding a master’s degree in Structural engineering and a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, with more than 30 years of experience in design, detailing, strengthening, inspections, construction management for bridges, building and infrastructure projects including Steel, concrete (RC, UHPC, PT, and FRC) and timber structures, as well as geotechnical design and building audit. Currently, Adel is a lead structural Engineer (transportation department) in AECOM (Canada) whose work includes design, contract documents, inspection, and construction management of various projects including bridges, underground structures, buildings, road rehabilitation, highway crossings, foundation design, reporting, quality control, quality assurance, geosynthetic reinforced earth projects and more,
Furthermore, I have shown leadership qualities in my previous employers by holding the position of a lead structural engineer, and design/engineering manager for several years.

Adel Al-Waily is a Lead Civil, Structural, and Geotechnical Engineer (AECOM Canada Employee)  with a Master’s degree in structural engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. Adel has more than 30 years of experience in design, detailing, strengthening, inspections, structural, and assessment for bridges, hydro-projects, buildings and other infrastructure. This experience includes concrete (RC, PT, PS, FRC, UHPC), steel, timber and cable structures and geosynthetic reinforced earth retaining structures. Adel’s work also
includes bridge structures load rating, project management, preparing contract documents, quantity surveying, filed inspection, quality control, quality assurance and structural assessment reporting.
