I have four plus years of experience in investment banking i.e., settlements and trust accounting. I am ready to take entry positions related to Accounting and Finances if required.

I am well-experienced in managing day-to-day settlements, SDI creations, booking transfers, charging claims to external counterparties, and evaluating internal claims. I have always ensured the timely delivery of services to clients even during a high volume of new issuance bookings. In over four years of employment, I have regularly connected with Clients/desks to understand outstanding issues and coordinated with internal teams to identify the cause and resolve the same. This has resulted in client satisfaction and helped to maintain healthy client/desk relations. Identified inefficient and ineffective steps in the process and proposed suitable improvements to reduce manual work. Documented changes in SOPs and shared them with the rest of the teams to improve productivity.

Worked as a part of a team and as an individual contributor in Fixed income settlements of cash and repo trades ensuring client satisfaction. • Worked on settlements of government bonds of German and Belgium markets. • Keeping track of custodians while checking borrow possibilities and current holdings. • Managed settlements of corporate bonds. • Worked on validation of trades, performing roll overs, pair-off payments, account/SDI setup, trade allegement checks, breaks management, late settlement claims, and pre-matching activities. • Handled settlements in Euroclear, ERGV, and various other domestic platforms. Worked on mutual fund reconciliation and trade settlement. • Prepared reconciliation of fund transfers and book transfers to summarize the cash flows of each fund. • Processed manual cheques, EFT, bank payments, and wire-outs for quick clearance of outstanding items. • Performed monthly, weekly, and quarterly basis reconciliation of dividends, NAV, commissions, trailer fees, and tax remittances to ensure on-time payments. • Matched the trade entries once the trade was settled and money movement is completed. • Extensively used iFAST Base, Fund SERV, and Frontier tools. • Documented Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
