About Aisha Baig:
I am a CCFP-certified physician with comprehensive training and experience in providing full-scope primary care to patients of all ages in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
Since 2020, I have been practicing as a Family Physician in Ontario, delivering longitudinal, patient-centered care that includes preventive health, chronic disease management, acute care, and women’s health services. My clinical practice involves a wide range of office-based procedures, including joint injections, skin excisions and biopsies, cryotherapy, incision and drainage of abscesses, suturing and wound repair, IUD insertion and removal, Pap smears, and endometrial sampling.
In addition to outpatient care, I work as a Hospitalist, managing adult and geriatric inpatients with complex medical needs. This role has strengthened my skills in care coordination, discharge planning, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. I also provide medical oversight in long-term care settings, contributing to comprehensive care planning for elderly patients.
I completed my Family Medicine residency at Western University, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, and hold licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. I have also practiced within the United Kingdom’s NHS and in Pakistan earlier in my career, gaining valuable experience caring for diverse patient populations across different healthcare systems.
I am committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care and fostering strong therapeutic relationships with patients and their families. I value teamwork, continuity of care, and ongoing professional development.
I would welcome the opportunity to discuss how my skills and experience can contribute to your family medicine team. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Dr. Aisha Rashid Baig
