I'm Akashdeep Singh, I'm originally from India. I've always been into commerce, so after finishing up my senior secondary education in that stream, I decided to take things a step further. In 2023, I proudly snagged my diploma in Business Administration after two years of hard work.

But here's where it gets interesting. Alongside my business studies, I found myself drawn to the world of MacBook repair. For a solid year, I got my hands on job troubleshooting and fixing those sleek machines. I had learned skills from diagnosing hardware and software, then repairing or replacing to unlocking firmware locks by coding. 

Right now, I am on a work permit, eager to dive deeper into the tech stream. My sights are set on getting permanent residency, and once I do, I'm all in on pursuing further studies in the IT stream. The way I see it, blending my business know-how with my newfound tech skills is the perfect recipe for success.

So yeah, that's me – Akashdeep Singh, always chasing that perfect blend of business and technology. Who knows where the journey will take me, but I'm ready for whatever comes my way.

As an Independent Laptop Technician from 2023 to 2024, I operated my business from home, leveraging online platforms like Amazon, Facebook Marketplace, Kijiji, and Craigslist. Specializing in MacBook devices, I diagnosed and resolved both software and hardware issues, conducted repairs and replacements of damaged components, and provided comprehensive technical support to clients, including data recovery services. Managing inventory efficiently ensured timely completion of repairs.

Simultaneously, as a Circle K Manager Assistant since June 2023, I've assisted in overseeing daily operations of a busy gas station, managing inventory, scheduling staff, and ensuring safety compliance. Providing exceptional customer service and driving sales were focal points, along with training and supervising a team, managing financial transactions, and implementing procedural changes as necessary.

I recently completed my diploma in business administration, which provided me with a strong foundation in management and organizational skills. However, my true passion lies in the field of computer technology. That's why I've decided to pursue further studies in IT. Once I secure my permanent residency in Canada, I plan to enroll in a program that will allow me to delve deeper into this field and pursue my dream of becoming a computer technician. I believe this decision reflects my commitment to aligning my education with my career aspirations and investing in my professional growth.
