Alain Legault

As a bilingual registered Social Worker, I bring 20 plus years of experience in mental health, behaviour management, program leadership, and a commitment for excellence. Utilizing a humanistic approach in my practice, it is my professional goal to engage with clients, and walk with them as they engage in their therapeutic journey. During this collaborative relationship, I draw on a variety of modalities that allow me to assist clients who are experiencing a variety of mental health concerns such as stress, anxiety, relationship issues, and trauma interventions for first responders.

As mentioned, I draw from different treatment modalities such as motivational interviewing, the medicine wheel, cognitive behaviour therapy and applied behaviour analysis. My active listening helps me to assess and gather data in order to make sense of your situation so that I can further support you in achieving your goal(s).
