MERA CANNABIS: VP FINANCE

Clearly demonstrated a pathway to higher gross margins of over 50% despite stiff federal

and provincial excise levies. We are one of two fully vertically integrated companies

doing hydrocarbon, ethanol, CO2, and Organic solventless nano extractions. Developed

costing modalities for urgent B2B quotations. Embarked on automation, dropping preroll

production costs by 50% with a one year pay back on investment. Studied investment

opportunities in Export Markets via our EU-GMP license and manage cash in a highly

leveraged situation.

JAN 2021 - AUG 2022

CEO & CFO, HOUSE OF WELLNESS

Built and Sold an online Health Foods business with 14,000 high spending, high repeat

customers (AOV $70), with a 4.9 star rated website on google and 400+ 5 star reviews.

Sales over $1 million annualized in 18 months.

OCT 2006 – DEC 2019

CFO, BIOSYENT INC (RX) LISTED ON TSX.V

Built a 100 million market cap Pharma Company from ground zero to $22 million dollars

in sales. Built the FeraMAX Iron Supplementation brand to $18 million in sales. My CEO,

Rene Goehrum, said in a farewell party, “There was no part of Strategy and Operations

that Alfred did not touch in the Company, whether Marketing, Sales, Finance,

Production, Distribution, Legal or HR.”

1990 – 2005

FINANCE DIRECTOR & CONTROLLER - COLGATE PALMOLIVE

Built Colgate Palmolive Vietnam from scratch to US $20 million. We took market share

from Unilever and Proctor and Gamble with a lot of guerilla marketing initiatives and left

the Company with tremendous capability and momentum

Did a 60 mm Investment in Tax Incentivized Zone and Doubled Company Profitability of

Colgate Palmolive India

International Acquisitions – Colgate Palmolive New York – Did acquisition work in New

York, China, Vietnam, S. Korea, and Australia.
