About Ali Carroll:

My name is Ali Carroll, and I am an illustrator and graphic designer based in Toronto, Ontario. With a Bachelor of Illustration from Sheridan College, I have 7 years experience working with consistent long-term clients as a freelance illustrator and designer.

Through this work I have become extremely familiar with multi-tasking under strict deadlines while maintaining organization, attention to detail, quality, and open communication channels with clients. Some of my client base includes various theatre companies around the GTA and my current long-term client Sago Mini.

I have a lot of experience working on projects intended for both print and web, so am familiar with the extra considerations that need to be had in any kind of visual design. I am also very familiar with working to the tailored needs of each client’s audience base and brand standards, and can easily illustrate designs in a wide array of styles depending on what’s needed. 

I am very well versed in the Adobe Creative Suite, including and not limited to Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Indesign. I am also extremely self motivated and hardworking, and thrive in both collaboration and solo work. 

Experience

Having been a freelance illustrator for 7 years now, I have worked with numerous theatre companies around the GTA, as well as my current long-term client Sago Mini. During that time before going full-time freelance, I have also been a tattoo artist apprentice, a writer, and a technical illustrator for the TTC in an extended co-op placement.

Education

I graduated from Sheridan College's Bachelor of Illustration program and recieved the Graduating Student award for my work in the final year.
