Ali Rutherford

Hi there, My name is Ali, my passion is being a mental health and addictions worker. I feel like it is my calling as I just have a deep understanding of what it is like to live with a debilitating mental illness and not having the proper supports out there. I enjoy being someone's listening ear, or the person who helps advocate for the ones who have lost their voice and fight for their well-being again, because they are worth it, even if they don't see it, I do.  

I have been in the Mental Health field going on about 6 ½ years now getting as much experience and education as I possibly can. I am constantly upgrading my knowledge on protocols and policies, so that I can support my clients and have the best list of resources to offer.

I have recently done my Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, Mental Health First Aid, Suicide Prevention ASSIT, Bullying and Harassment in a workplace, FOIPPA and all other courses that were offered through my organization
