Allison Bergen

 I have worked in the insurance business for over three decades and have always been committed to learning and professional development. Since 1990, I have not wavered in my career in the insurance industry. I have always sought to advance professionally by acquiring these four designations. Having completed my MBA and then decided to pursue my Doctorate in Business Administration, I am proud to be able to balance my work and family life, including raising two children with my husband and enjoying sailing. 

I am currently a vice president with over 30 years in the insurance business, much of it in senior management. I currently manage with the authority and autonomy to design, implement, and oversee all programs, staffing, and operations necessary to drive the organization’s growth and success. I currently champion a vision of excellence, striving to ensure every resource is available to execute my strategies effectively while prioritizing the well-being of all stakeholders.

As a doctoral candidate in business administration, I am studying leadership, marketing, and strategic management. These studies, along with my MBA from Simon Fraser University, have prepared me to lead an organization or division to growth and success.
