• CEGELEC Qatar W.L.L. - September 2019 to May 2023

HSE Coordinator (KAHRAMAA Approved Safety Superintendent) in Qatar Power Transmission System Substations Upgrade of KAHRAMAA Telecommunication Networks project for the upgradation of KAHRAMAA’s Telecommunication networks and National Control Centre (NCC) and Distribution Control Centre (DCC) modifications and expansions using the latest MPLS techniques.

HSE Coordinator/site in charge of work inside live power stations. Responsible for the implementation of project safety management systems, government legislation and regulations, and client requirements.

Supervise and coordinate with engineers and site supervisors to achieve the Project’s overall safety goals.

Ensure effective Permit-to-Work system implementation for the various critical activities on site.  
Conduct safety campaigns and seminars involving all parties to ensure compliance with safety plans and policies, advise corrective actions, and follow up on the suggested actions to ensure proper implementation.  

Develop project-specific HSE management plans, new hazard assessments, safety awareness training programs, and technical reports. Provide recommendations and input for revising safety procedures, developing safe work practices, etc.

• China Gezhouba Group Corporation Burhan International JV - August 2016 to September 2019

HSE Officer (KAHRAMAA approved) for CGGC-Burhan JV Construction of Water Mega Reservoir PRPS 4, Abu Nakhla, Qatar. The project entails the construction of five potable water mega reservoir sites and an interconnecting network of large-diameter water pipelines with a capacity of approximately 100 million imperial gallons of water in each reservoir.

Closely monitor high-risk activities, i.e., confined space entry, critical liftings, work at height, etc.

Develop and conduct HSE training, i.e., Confined Space Entry, Heat Stress and Working at Height, Environmental Awareness, etc. Preparing and updating HSE documentation, i.e., weekly and monthly reports, Incident Reports and Accident Investigations, training logs, and permit logs.

Coordinate and provide support for investigations of all incidents, including accidents, disabling injuries, medical aid cases, occupational illnesses, and high-potential near-miss incidents. Issue detailed incident investigation reports to project management personnel.

• Abhinav Associates - May 2013 to December 2015

HSE Officer for residential building construction works at multiple locations.  

Projects included the construction of independent villas and condos for clients, including government agencies and private parties.

Monitor all work activities within the site and conduct regular inspections to ensure that the work is being carried out in line with approved Method Statements and Risk Assessments. Preparing regular monthly reports and ad hoc reports on relevant issues as required.

Ensure workplace safety, implement the Permit to Work System, and enforce full PPE compliance.

Reporting non-compliance to the Site Supervisors for rectification and escalating any further compliance-related issues to the HSE Manager.

Coordinate and assist in implementing and maintaining a site emergency response plan.
