About Amrit Amar:

I am a software engineer from Botswana who enjoys challenges and problem-solving. I am excited to apply my expertise in AI, data, and software engineering to have a positive impact on the world. 

I graduated from Cornell University in 2020. I have worked as a lead data engineer at Inflexion Games and a software engineer at Meta Reality Labs Research. I possess experience in AI, Data, Embedded Systems, Robotics, Augmented/Virtual Reality, Game Design, and Graphics.

Personal Venture (2025 - Current)
Founder/Engineer

My personal venture, which uses AI-powered solutions to help the education sector and small businesses reach their full potential. On the education side, I am using AI to build more efficient ways to learn and study, as well as build tools that get students interested in STEM from an early age in underprivileged areas. Currently focusing on Botswana and the surrounding SADC region. With businesses, I design and implement custom generative-AI solutions using LLMs to improve business practices and SOPs alongside ERP systems to improve and automate workflows.

Inflexion Games (2023-2025)
Lead Data Engineer

Led the Analytics Game Services team data strategy and designed and maintained data pipelines for a live-service game called Nightingale.

Meta (2020 - 2023)
Software Engineer

I was a software engineer at Meta within Reality Labs Research. I worked in a team called Surreal where I contributed to the future of Augmented Reality and Contextualized AI services with Project Aria.
