About Angele Houle:
I am looking to put my skills to good use in your company. Well-qualified employees are very important for proper working and operation of any association, company or government. I have had much experience in the administrative and labour relations domain. Not only have I become very comfortable with computers, administrative work, and communications; I have also become at ease with Labour Relations in a Union. I am not shy, I love to make conversation with people and I am always looking to help coworkers with a joyful enthusiasm.
I am an ambitious, dedicated, flexible and reliable coworker. I am always ready to work under pressure and I perfect every task I am asked to do. I am independent, but also love to work with a team. I have studied and obtained a diploma at La Cité collégiale in Office Administration – Administrative Assistant for a two year program and I have also completed a full summer of COOP to excel what I have learned in class during the past years. I have studied office technology, communications, account management, bookkeeping, business relations, Human Resource management, Labour and business rights, public administration and administrative coordination.
In the past eight years at the Ontario Nurses’ Association, I have learned how to interpret a collective agreement in different hospitals, nursing homes, homes for the aged, etc. I have learned human rights in the workplace and how to determine the merits of a grievance. I have been fully involved in grievances, from the intake stage through arbitration and implementation. I have experience with workplace injuries, disabilities, accommodations and return to work grievances. For the last 3 years, I was in the Office Manager role where I would oversee all regional staff, office supplies ordering, managed the full renovation of our office and complete many more managerial duties. I have conducted Health & Safety Inspections on a monthly basis for our Ottawa Office and have been an active member of our Joint Health & Safety Committee. I have developed a passion for Labour Relations as well as Union work and have been a leader in multiple provincial projects. I would love to continue providing my leadership and expertise within your company. Although I have not been in an official Human Resources or Executive Assistant role, I have done many of the tasks associated with these positions. I have added detailed information in my resume.
I am currently working as a Real Estate Law Clerk for ALX Legal. I have been responsible doing the entire intake process with clients as well as request multiple documents from different municipalities. My responsibility is to be in contact with clients throughout the entire transaction and be available to answer any questions or concerns. I have also done some Executive Assistant work for lawyers.
I am fluent in both official languages. French is my mother tongue. I am looking forward to meeting with you for an interview at your convenience.
