My Name is Bibi Angelica Kanhai but I preferred be called Angelica.  I am 22 year old girl  who is looking for a Medical Office Assistant job a very kind, friendly person to get along with. On the other hand I have a strong background in computer skills, I am passionate about my work, very flexible and extremely hardworking. 

 

 

Therefore I am excited about taking more responsibilities in this position, on the other hand I want to learn more and grow my skill set in this industry. I have experience from my volunteer work which I recently completed in Oct 2024  as for my Internship in 2022 as well, which is written on my resume. 

 

 

I'm eager to learn new skills and take on new challenges, once this is my first job and I see this role as a perfect fit for my career goals. I have the experience and qualifications required for the job. I thrive on being the best that I can be. I keep working hard to achieve my goals.

  • Greet patients when they come into the doctor's office or clinic, answering telephone calls, taking patients' weight / baby weight, scheduling appointments, and organizing paperwork
  • Download faxes into the computer system (Oscar EMR)
  • Record essential patient information accurately into the electronic health records system, prioritizing confidentiality, and precision validating patients health cards
  • Clean/prepare the examination room, assist in performing COVID tests on patients and inputting vaccinations information into the patient's medical history

 

Medical Office Assistant (Internship), Dr. E Medical & Travel Clinic 2022

  •  Recorded essential patient information accurately into the electronic health records system, prioritizing confidentiality, and precision into computer system (Accuro EMR)
  • Book and schedule appointments, enter and format electronically based medical reports and correspondence also prepare spreadsheets and documents for review
  • Organized documents into a weekly folder and shredding of confidential documents
