angelica markosky

Angelica Markosky is a Microbiologist a the University of Calgary. As a honors student in Cellular, Molecular, and Microbiology Angelica has worked worked as both a summer student and an honors student in various research projects. Her most resent research experience involved looking at Lactobacilli and its interaction with Womens Health.

• Performed daily laboratory procedures with PhD student supervision, 
• Tested concentration, density, and pH of lab facility 
• Performed DNA extractions and utilized Polymerase Chain Reaction technology, microscopes and spectrophotometers, 
• Developed computer, record-keeping and calibration skills.
