Anna Kasztenny

After completing my Bachelor of Medical Sciences & Honours Specialization in Pharmacology at the University of Western Ontario, I have relocated to Leiden, The Netherlands to complete a Masters Degree in Bio-Pharmaceutical Sciences and Business Studies. I have research experience in carcinoma cell culture and UPLC-MS/MS, however would like to pursue a career in the Pharmaceutical industry. Outside of my schooling, I have several years of work experience as a pharmacy assistant. 

I have worked in 3 different pharmacies as a pharmacy assistant, and was responsible for dispensing drugs, maintaining inventory, placing orders, and taking customer phone calls. I worked in a compounding pharmacy as well as a university campus pharmacy, and thrive in fast-paced environments. Additionally, I have 8 years of coaching experience in gymnastics, dance, and cheerleading, which involved working with children aged 6-16. 

I have a Bachelor of Medical Science from the University of Western Ontario, with an Honours Specialization in Pharmacology, and was awarded Dean's List and an academic scholarship all 4 years. I am entering my second year of my MSc in Bio-Pharmaceutical Science and Business Studies at Leiden University in the Netherlands.
