My name is April Malwatta, and I am a passionate, user-focused graphic designer. With nearly two years of professional experience in designing a variety of graphic materials, I believe I would make a valuable addition to your company as a graphic designer.

I earned a diploma in Interactive Media Design from Seneca College and possess expertise in InDesign, Photoshop and, Illustrator, along with proficiency in HTML and CSS.

My background includes both freelance and in-house graphic design roles, where I have successfully contributed to print, interactive, and digital design projects. Currently, I hold the position of Design Strategist at SEIU Healthcare, where I am responsible for creating all graphic communication materials and advertising campaigns. Although it is a senior role, I have been able to consistently demonstrate my skills. In fact, our most recent campaign, developed by me and the communications team, resulted in increased membership and support for the union.
