• Ensure assistance for all kids in shopping as requested.
• Assist with house cleaning, yard maintenance and meal preparation according to the established procedures and rotations.
• Assist kids to maintain acceptable personal hygiene standards.
• Ensure that recreational and leisure activities are appropriate and of benefit to the kids and promote/participate in community outings.
• Assist and role model day to day skills as relevant to the kids
• Supervise and sign for prescribed (non –prescription) medications as per established policy and procedures.
• Co-ordinate activities with the community resources to ensure that all kids participate as actively in community outings.
• Documented behavioral concerns and submitted incident reports for incidents happening during shift.
• Transported kids to doctor’s appointments, community activities and other events.
• Attend regular in-house meeting specific to kids, agency, and some community related aspects as deemed necessary by the agency
• Ensure residents and visitors respect all in orphan hood rules and best practices.
•  Preparing meals and drinks for kids. 
• Administering medication to kids. 
• Completing of essential paper work. 
• Speaking to care managers on behalf of kids. 
• Ensure the security & safety of the orphan hood is maintained at all times. Taking kids to social events, appointments and places of worship. 
• Assisting orphan hood with money management like household bills

Center for Elderly (Alzheimer and Dementia facility), Cameroon

• Bed making

• encouraging residents and providing a sense of belonging
• Helps residents in outdoor activities when necessaries
• Ensure the safety and comfort of residents
• Massage of residents
• Use of point of click documentation to record all activities concerning residents.
