Bailey Chase

I am a student in search of a summer job. I love details and organization, as well as hand on work. I am currently getting a BA at mount saint Vincent university with my current goal to work in child psychology.  

3 years as a cash sales assistant / maintenance employee at the Irving Circle K: In this job I followed detailed cleaning operations in the store, bathrooms, and lawn. I also communicated with customers to complete a variety of tasks. Further, this job also demanded I follow food safety regulations to ensure the health and wellbeing for all. In addition to this I was entrusted with the combination of the safe, as well as handling large sums of money every shift. 

1 Summer as a recreation assistant at the Valley View Villa continuing care home. In this position I was responsible for the planning and enacting activities for the residents. Planning and delivering programs required time management skills, communication with my coworkers and other members of the staff such as the CCAs. The job also required a personal aspect of connecting with the residents and applying their input to ensure the best quality experience for their time at the Villa. 

I am 2 years into my degree in child and youth studies at mount saint Vincent university, with a minor in psychology. I was put on the Dean's List for my academic excellence and maintaining my GPA. In this degree I have been studying childhood development socially, emotionally, and cognitively while also learning proper documentation strategies for research and daily use.
