Experienced in fundraising, partnerships, strategic initiatives, community engagement, event planning and program development. I have held several positions focused on Partnerships, Events, Program and Community Outreach and Strategic Development in project & program management, non-profit and philanthropy environments. I am currently with Scadding Court Community Centre as the Director, Fundraising, Partnerships and Donation Procurement. Building and sustaining relationships, to develop strategic plans around sustainable funding. Manage and oversee the development and implementation of new projects, partnership and grant relationships. Supports and enhances existing programs, develops and maintains partnerships, and coordinates community, fundraising, and special events. Continued to grow our partnership with MLSE Foundation on their All-Star legacy project to renovate our Youth Hub.

Partnership and Grant Revenue Growth

• Manage and delivers a fundraising strategy that includes submission of proposals to government, foundation, community and private sector contributors, securing partnerships and sponsorships, coordinating special events, securing gifts in-kind and cultivating individual donors
• Develop and implement strategic plan for funding and engagement
• Develop and maintain fundraising pipeline of prospects to grow revenue 

Revenue Budget Management and Analysis

• Accurately develop fundraising budgets & maintain quarterly & yearly forecasts to achieve revenue targets 

Program Design, Planning & Execution

• Develop fundraising plan, new programs and projects
• Establish community collaborations with community members, community organizations and other organizations to provide robust programming
• Execution of program strategy, marketing, communication, activations, engagement and stewardship 
• Manage and execute fundraising and events
• Manage and Oversee CRM system

Stewardship & Community Engagement

• Develop and oversee stewardship planning and opportunities and events for donors, partners and impact reporting
• Establish strong connections within the community, developing trust through programming and funding meeting the needs of the community

As well, I am a volunteer member on the Research Advisory Committee for MLSE LaunchPad, I observe, assess, advocate, and recommend modifications to programming. This has been an opportunity in learning strategies on how to measure the success of sport development in programming and projects. This opportunity has given me access to understanding the needs and opportunities and events for children to become future leaders.

I am also a board member for Girls Forward Foundation a national charitable organization focused on empowering girls and women and those self-identified through physical activity and education.

I have also completed the Sports and Entertainment Impact Certificate from John’s Hopkins University. This program helped me explore more of the various ways to utilize sport for impact, development, and philanthropic purposes. I believe that this program has equipped me with the tools needed to be successful in this position.
