Ben Atchison

Hey! I hope this message finds you well and youre having a great day. Im Ben, I currently am preparing to move out to British Columbia to pursue a Masters Degree at UVic. I have a proven track record of working hard and finishing the job to the highest standards efficiently. I would love to work as a server this summer, because I believe the best workers should receive the most compensation for their work and tips allow me to do just that. I have full availability all summer starting April 20th and I am able to commute anywhere because I have fortunate enough to own a car. If you hire me, you will be impressed. 

I have a variety of experiences within the professional setting, my first job was for the city of Hamilton as a cashier. I then fell in love with lifeguarding over my summers, great pay, great people and a tan, it doesn't get much better than that. As  I gained experience lifeguarding I craved more responsibility and became a head lifeguard, which had the responsibilities of scheduling and ordering supplies. This experience helped me learn a lot of the business side. I am also currently a server, which I love because I like to think I'm an extravert. I also tutor which is very rewarding, there's nothing better than watching my students improve in their studies. 

I am currently finishing my bachelors degree at Brock University and have received various scholarships to pursue a Masters. I believe Brock is one of the best schools to gain experience, I have gotten to build my social skills and become more cultured because of Brock diverse campus. I have also been fortunate enough to work hand and hand with professors as a Research assistant, which ignited my love for research. I believe that a growth mindset is more important than any degree.
