  • Designed and analyzed stone cladding anchorage systems, through the use of AutoCAD and SAP 2000 to create a safe, and up-to-code cladding system that can resist specified wind and earthquake loadings
  • Calculated dead, live, snow, wind, and earthquake loadings of different buildings using MathCAD to develop a clear and concise foundation for the companies calculation packages
  • Performed sophisticated research on numerous subjects including the pros and cons of different sub-framing systems, also coded an Excel sheet to help users determine the most efficient sub-framing system for different scenarios

  • Created a detailed plan and schedule for team members to complete a large paper that resembled a master’s thesis. The paper was completed according to schedule with extra time left for editing as well as room for any formatting errors
  • Calculated the values to construct a safe basic 4-story reinforced concrete building, by the Concrete Design Handbook and the National Building Code of Canada
  • Wrote an 80-page document with another student detailing numerous different emerging materials and techniques used in the rehabilitation of old bridges to be published in the NRC’s year-end report

The feasibility of the project was extensively researched, and the engineering design was completed by hand as well as using MathCAD, SAP 2000, Revu Bluebeam, and Revit
  • Weekly meetings were held with the internal team and external meetings were held with a Professor from Carleton University, and a Director from WSP. These meetings were held to present progress, ask questions, and receive guidance for the project
