Bethany Dawson

I have worked in many different roles, and from each of them I have taken lessons to shape who I am today.

I have developed a diverse professional background across caregiving, child care, hospitality, and retail environments. With a strong foundation in compassionate care, I have provided high-quality support to seniors in long-term care settings, including medication assistance, personal care, and meal preparation. My experience in after-school programs demonstrates patience, adaptability, and the ability to create safe, inclusive spaces for children, including those with special needs.

Beyond caregiving, I have worked in customer-facing roles such as a restaurant server and retail receiver, showcasing my reliability, organization, and customer service skills. Across all roles, I have consistently demonstrated professionalism, teamwork, and a commitment to maintaining a positive and respectful environment.

I hold a Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate from Conestoga College (2021–2022), where I gained practical knowledge in health care fundamentals, resident care, and professional ethics. I graduated Kitchener-Waterloo Collegiate Institute, earning my Ontario Secondary School Diploma (O.S.S.D.).

Additionally I hold a SmartServe certificate.

Her formal training, combined with real-world experience, has equipped her with a strong understanding of patient-centered care, safety procedures, and communication — skills that transfer seamlessly to both healthcare and customer service roles.
