I am a strategic leader in contract management, logistics and procurement, driving operational excellence across complex, remote, and capital-intensive environments. Expert in category management, contract governance, Indigenous engagement, and SAP & SAP S4Hana-integrated sourcing frameworks. Proven track record in cost controls, optimizing logistics, and aligning procurement strategies with corporate, regulatory, and project timeline and objectives.
Experience
I am a seasoned supply chain and procurement professional with over two decades of experience in strategic sourcing, contract management, and operational procurement across the mining, energy, and infrastructure sectors. Currently serving as Purchasing Manager at B2Gold Corp.’s Back River Mine, I lead a team of seven in supporting critical logistics programs such as the Sealift, HERC Program, Air Strip Operations, and Annual Ice Road, while managing procurement for open pit, underground, and airstrip activities. My leadership has driven measurable improvements, including a 10% reduction in procurement cycle time and over $1.3M in cost savings through strategic sourcing and vendor alignment. I have also been a key player in the implementation of SAP S4Hana Ariba-based vendor and contract management programs, ensuring SOX compliance and achieving $200K in annual cost avoidance. Prior to this, I held the role of Supply Chain Lead for Newcrest Mining’s Block Cave Project, where she delivered $500K in annual savings through process improvements and led Indigenous economic development initiatives under IBCA agreements. At Teck Resources, I managed capital and autonomous equipment contracts, achieving 18% cost reductions through category strategy development and vendor performance optimization. My earlier work at Cenovus Energy involved expanding crude-by-rail capacity, where I oversaw rail infrastructure contracts and achieved significant cost efficiencies and regulatory compliance. My career also includes key roles in turnaround and outage supply chain management at Agrium Inc., project management at Imperial Oil, and materials leadership at CNRL, Enbridge, Suncor, and Halliburton. My extensive experience spans contract negotiation, risk mitigation, Indigenous engagement, and SAP systems integration, making me a highly effective leader in complex, high-value procurement environments.
