As a YouTube News Host on InformOverload, I developed a keen eye for tracking fascinating stories in entertainment news and internet culture. Keeping a finger on the pulse of social media trends is part of my everyday, in addition to working under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. My strengths are content ideation, research, and social media strategizing. My time studying journalism at the Internation Career Institute Australia has proven to be an asset in my day-to-day work on social media. The curriculum covered news gathering and research, conducting interviews, as well as writing news articles, feature stories, and opinion pieces. and other journalistic content. The course also focused on digital and multimedia skills within news coverage, which included video editing, audio production, and data visualization. Learning how to conduct interviews, ask probing questions, and build rapport with sources was another major chapter.
