Most recently employed as a Court and Client Representative at the Ministry of the Attorney General until starting maternity leave in 2019. Aided the public with inquiries. Transcribed all court proceedings at 70 words per minute. Prior to this role with the ministry, worked as a Court Services Officer with the Ministry of the Attorney General. Court room experience and professionalism include: worked as a licensed paralegal with one year of experience as well as a Legal Administrator/ Executive Assistant with three years of experience. Passionate about community based organizations and am involved with different aspects of the community. Assisting in meetings, reporting, and drafting of documentation while an assistant. Entered data into many different types of software. Able to learn software quickly. Able to update data into many computerized systems. Successfully aiding in the representing of clients and their matters that would appear before various tribunals and courts by aiding as an assistant to this role. Proven ability to speak persuasively while being able to interact with individuals with various backgrounds. Managing client’s rental units undertaking tasks such as inspections, collection of rent as well as drafting various Landlord and Tenant Board forms. Successfully managed client files, attended meetings, drafted documentation, all for my superiors as an executive assistant. Communicates well with others orally in various types of situations. Able to draft different types of documents very well in writing. Able to work well and communicate well with others of various ages and ethnic backgrounds. Excels in computer knowledge and is able to use various types of software. Very familiar with all court forms and how to properly fill them out.
