I am an experienced Harmony Rigger and Scene Set-Up Artist with a Bachelor of Applied Arts Degree in Animation from Sheridan College and a solid background in traditional animation, character/prop design, and storyboarding. I therefore consider rigging not only from a technical perspective, but from the artist’s perspective.

Experience

Following my graduation from Sheridan College, I had the privilege of working at Nelvana, where I accumulated three years experience in scene set-up, starting with Hotel Transylvania: The Series and concluding with Ollie's Pack. On the latter production, I undertook a self-motivated transition into rigging, driven by my desire to expand my skill set. I began by rigging props and progressively expanded my role to rigging characters.

While working primarily as a Harmony Rigger for the next five years, I continued expanding my skill set further, contributing character and prop designs while working in rigging at Bardel Entertainment on Rick and Morty and at Copernicus Studios on Curious George.

Currently, I am working as a 2D animator, rigger, and storyboard artist on a project I cannot name due to an NDA.

Education

In addition to my BAA from Sheridan College, I built traditional animation skills during online courses with Don Bluth and storyboarding skills while at the CGMA online art school.
