I am a hard-working LPN that goes above and beyond when it comes  to facilitating patient needs, taking in a holistic approach to their  each individual care.

I thrive with teamwork, and call upon each team member when the need presents itself to ensure that the patient is within their normal range, and if not, then to seek out the necessary care to ensure that the patient has what they need.

I am anglophone, but work predominately with the French population and am fluently bilingual. I am someone who can freely translate between both languages, and be that person that is needed in situations where social barriers are a concern.

I excel with special needs and mental deficit clientele, taking on the role of understanding persons with Alzheimer's, to children with special needs and adolescents with mental health illnesses. My approach is to understand their fears and anxieties that come with their specific needs, why, and how I can help fulfill their needs without inducing further stress or undue anxiety.

Overall, my ability to care for a person is always on a one-to-one basis, and always with their respect and dignity, as well as their comfort in mind.

I have worked with a variety of clientele, most of which were geriatrics with Alzheimer's. I have worked in long term care homes, group homes, retirement homes (Group Maurice), and at home care with complex care and palliative care given.
