Caolan Fanning

I am a hard working and self driven individual looking for a new challenge to grow both in the professional and personal sense.

I have experience in working in a team and individually on a wide range of websites and applications in both the Front End and the Back End from single page applications to full e-commerce websites.

The technologies I primarily worked with were HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ReactJS, NodeJS, Express and MongoDB. I also have some experience working with mySQL, jQuery, PHP in a professional sense as well as NextJS, TailwindCSS, MaterialUI and Bootstrap on personal projects / study.

I also have worked on a mobile application using React Native

Having worked in different areas throughout my career such as Retail and target aiming sales jobs, I have mastered working toward goals both on an individual and in a group sense. Making be both trustworthy to be giving tasks alone or excel in working within a group setting.

Being a self taught developer the idea of going into new roles and learning new technologies excites me rather than worries me.

Although I am relatively new in my career working in a fast paced agency has accelerated my ability.

I would love the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally, and welcome the challenge of learning the technologies that I don't currently possess.

I worked in a company called Digigrow in Dublin, Ireland initially as a Front End Developer but towards the end of my time there I delved into Server Side Development. 

Digigrow is a fast paced agency where I was tasked with working on multiple projects, both alone and as a part of a team, in my day-to-day work life.
I began as a FrontEnd Developer working on both Wordpress Projects and ReactJS projects using Redux for state management.
Toward the end of my time at Digigrow I began working with NodeJS using Express. I learnt a lot about debugging both in the browser (Google Dev Tools) and in debug mode in VSCode.
