Carly-kate O'Brien

I am currently a student at St.Lawrence College, I have worked in customer service since I was 17 years old, and I find it a calming yet exciting work environment. I am extremely organized while on the job, I have great computer skills and understand how to work a cash register. I am an efficient independent worker, and I am able to diminish customer concerns, and efficiently meet customer needs.

Customer Service-  February 2021- July 2023

Mcdonalds/ Tim Hortons/ Costco:

• Assisted customers with their needs.
• Prepared a hygienic work environment and restaurant.
• Completed required tasks in a timely and efficient manner. 
• Acquired the ability to diminish customer concerns, in a friendly, helpful manner.
• Assembled beverages and food such as sandwiches.
• Folded and sorted clothing.
• Performed under pressure.
• Cleansed and disinfected working areas, as well as customer areas. 

Marmora Retirement Home:

• Operated Laundering equipment and collected laundry from resident rooms.
• Sorted and organized clothing by name, and room.
• Assisted residents with relaxing, and engaged residents with walks around the home.
• Assisted residents with redecorating and upkeep of their rooms. 
• Assisted and observed as residents were given their medications.
• Maintained a strict time schedule, and was able to complete tasks efficiently.. 
• Grasped concepts of medical vernacular.
