I’m a passionate and positive individual with a deep enthusiasm for life. I truly love what I do and find joy in my work. My journey started as a high school teacher in Dubai, and after moving to Canada in 2023 with my husband and teenage son, I transitioned into Early Childhood Education. Currently, I’m working as an ECE educator at a daycare, where I cherish the opportunity to nurture young minds. Outside of work, I enjoy unwinding with OTT web series, especially thrillers and comedies. I’m always eager to learn, grow, and bring energy to everything I do!

I am a dedicated educator with extensive experience spanning early childhood education and high school teaching. Currently, I work at Lynnwood Daycare & OSC in Edmonton, where I design lesson plans, organize learning activities, and support the emotional and intellectual development of toddlers and OSC children. My role includes ensuring child safety, managing classrooms, communicating with parents about behavior and learning needs, and handling administrative duties such as emails, fee communication, and subsidy allocations. Additionally, I implement positive reinforcement strategies to resolve behavioral challenges and foster a nurturing learning environment.

Before moving to Canada, I was a high school teacher in Dubai, teaching IGCSE and AS Level Travel & Tourism, Psychology, English Literature, History, and Geography across multiple schools. At Dubai Gem Pvt School (2015-2022), I developed curricula, prepared students for external examinations, and conducted assessments while providing constructive feedback. I also played a pastoral role as a form tutor for Grade 11 students, supporting them academically and personally. Additionally, I contributed to extracurricular activities, including school outings, social events, and sporting activities. My teaching approach emphasized inclusivity, especially for students with special needs, and I consistently built strong relationships with students, parents, and faculty.

At Dubai Scholars Pvt School (2014-2015) and St. Mary’s Catholic School, I taught English Literature, History, and Psychology, including stepping in for AS Level Psychology during a KHDA inspection. I also spent 15 years at St. Theresa’s Boys High School in India (1999-2014), where I taught English, History, Geography, and ICT while leading religious education for younger students.

With a strong foundation in curriculum development, classroom management, and student engagement, I am passionate about fostering a positive and enriching learning environment that supports academic excellence and personal growth.

I have completed Level 2 and Level 3 Early Childhood Educator courses from Saskatchewan and Alberta, which have significantly enhanced my expertise in child development, curriculum planning, and classroom management. These qualifications have deepened my understanding of early learning principles, child psychology, and inclusive education strategies, equipping me with the skills to create engaging, developmentally appropriate learning environments.

My studies have been directly relevant to my role as an Early Childhood Educator at Lynnwood Daycare & OSC, where I apply evidence-based practices to support children’s cognitive, social, and emotional growth. The training has also strengthened my ability to implement positive behavior guidance, foster meaningful parent-educator communication, and ensure a safe, nurturing space for children to thrive. This educational foundation aligns with my passion for early childhood education, allowing me to make a lasting impact on young learners' development.
