About cedric dassigli:
Biomedical engineer with hands-on experience in medical equipment planning, technical evaluation, procurement support, installation supervision, and lifecycle management across healthcare facilities. I ensure that medical technologies are not only delivered, but operational, compliant, and sustainable.
I have contributed to multi-site healthcare projects involving technical specifications, supplier coordination, commissioning, acceptance testing, and user training. My approach combines engineering precision with structured project execution — clear planning, risk management, documentation control, and measurable outcomes.
Alongside my biomedical expertise, I am currently strengthening my profile through an IT Project Management certification. I am developing competencies in project planning frameworks, stakeholder management, digital systems implementation, risk analysis, and performance monitoring. This dual background allows me to bridge the gap between medical technology and digital health systems.
I am particularly motivated by projects that modernize health infrastructure, integrate technology intelligently, and create resilient systems in complex environments.
Driven by impact-oriented engineering, I focus on delivering reliable technical solutions that directly improve healthcare performance and patient outcomes
Experience
Biomedical Engineer with over 8 years of experience in hospital and healthcare environments, specializing in medical equipment management, acquisition projects, and clinical engineering advisory services.
Since 2018, I have been working with Groupe Biomédical Montérégie as a Biomedical Engineer and Technical Advisor, leading acquisition projects for medical technologies, planning large-scale equipment deployments, and overseeing installation processes across healthcare facilities. My role combines technical evaluation, procurement support, coordination with suppliers, and operational implementation.
Previously, at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal (2015–2018), I managed biomedical acquisition projects and led the implementation of nurse call systems. I also developed equipment replacement plans and contributed to the integration and operational alignment of associated healthcare centers within the CIUSSS network. My responsibilities included deployment planning, system implementation, and process improvement in complex hospital settings.
Earlier clinical engineering internships strengthened my foundation in technology assessment, procurement processes, regulatory compliance, and biomedical service optimization.
My background blends clinical engineering expertise, structured project coordination, and growing IT project management competencies, positioning me at the intersection of healthcare technology and digital transformation.
Education
Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering (Clinical Engineering option) from the Université de Montréal, providing advanced training in medical technology management, hospital systems, regulatory standards, and healthcare infrastructure planning.
Currently strengthening my project leadership capabilities through a Microprogram in IT Project Management at Université Laval, focused on structured project planning, risk management, stakeholder coordination, and digital systems implementation.
