I am highly Technical Leader with advanced Operations experience interested  Leadership positions in the Utility and petrochemical industries. Power Plant & Process operations along with site integration/maintenance leadership aligns with my primary academics & carrier exposure. I have aspirations of personal growth while supporting long-term goals of within a large organizations. I’ve had my First-Class Power Engineering Certificate for several years now with prior Chief Engineer/Operations Coordinator experience. I take pride in my ability to Build relations and lead effectively through group strength in large complex environments and then apply these relations to safely complete assigned projects within a cross functional teams or independent work environments while maintaining Operational Excellence. I have exposure to Regulatory Policy, Incident Command function for emergency/incident investigations/reporting, business cycle, people management, complex facility integration, start up/re-commissioning projects, and conduct myself in a manner which supports an inclusive environment.

Overall Chief Engineer Operations responsibilities as set out under the ABSA Power Engineering Regulations. 1-5 Year business plan development, Outage planning and site integration planning. Contractor work oversite and QA acceptance, contract and warranty adherence. PSSR (Pre Start Safety Review) Acceptance for projects and Turnarounds. Technical liaison for project development, assessment, final gate acceptance. Risk assessment development for business risk exposure for business decision/budget allocation making functions. Staff Training, competence oversite and operations qualifications signoffs. Equipment performance, reliability trouble shooting via boots on the ground and in field staff mentorship. Developing the Operator Care guidelines and coaching staff into ASME SEC VII best practices for Fired pressure equipment. Sharing technical information attained at conferences such as GE North American Technical conference and applying world lessons learned to the equipment and staff under my supervision for reliability/safety improvements. Work order approval and Maintenance allocation. Power Pool "AESO" Training liaison. Third party contractor data review for Boiler Water Chemistries, GE Reports, Electrical Testing Reports, SAT's. Stewardship to Corporate Policy, Industrial Life Saving rules, and Canadian Workplace Safety Standards. Developing departmental mindset change in support of Human Organizational Performance, group inclusion work culture. General Business Team Leader and Cultural support activities for corporate initiatives for a effective floor up management style that is tune with field level realities.
