Cole Tubigan

My Name is Cole Tubigan. I am a 19 year old from Toronto, Canada, seeking a plumbing apprenticeship. I have been working in trades from a young age starting with my fathers painting company. I am someone who takes great pride in producing quality work. I have a passion for powerlifting and I do whatever it takes to learn and improve upon the things I am passionate about. I have a great interest in plumbing and I would like to turn that interest into a passion as well.

Currently, I am working as a Greenskeeper at Oakdale Golf & Country Club, host of the 2023 RBC Canadian Open. After working at a golf course for 4 years, I am highly experienced in all aspects of greenkeeping including knowledge on irrigation systems. I have also been working for my fathers painting business; DMC Interiors, ever since I was 14. 

I have completed the Plumbing Techniques program at Humber College with honors. During which I learned the basics of plumbing theory, plumbing systems, trade documentation, the Ontario Plumbing Code, oxy-fuel welding and stick welding. I also gained significant hands-on experience in several plumbing techniques, including joining methods of various piping materials such cast iron, black steel, copper, PEX, ABS, and Victaulic. And finally I have installed various plumbing systems and fixtures, including wet vents, kitchen sinks, bathtubs, lavatory basins, laundry tubs, water meter bypasses, tankless water heaters and mixing valves, using applied knowledge in course workshops.
