About Courtney Little:

I’m passionate about protecting Canada’s wildlife and ecosystems, and I’m eager to apply my ongoing education in Wildlife & Fisheries Biology alongside hands-on experience caring for raptors and mammals. With a strong foundation in business, I bring practical problem-solving skills and a sharp eye for data to support meaningful conservation and education efforts.

Experience

I am a Wildlife Rehabilitation Intern with WILDNorth and a volunteer with the Strathcona Raptor Shelter, currently completing a BSc in Wildlife & Fisheries Biology through Oregon State University. My work in wildlife care includes feeding, monitoring, and supporting the rehabilitation of injured birds and mammals, alongside a growing academic foundation in species biology and conservation. In parallel, I bring over 10 years of experience as a Project Manager, leading large-scale technology implementations across teams of 75+ people. I’ve managed end-to-end project delivery—planning, scoping, training, risk management, testing, and stakeholder engagement—while aligning business and technical goals, resolving complex challenges, and delivering consistent, high-quality results. Together, these two tracks reflect my strength in both structured execution and my passion for conservation.

Education

In progress: Bachelor of Fisheries & Wildlife

Completed: Business Administration Certificate
