Having worked in many different health care settings with over 25 years experience, I am a very adaptable and skilled nurse. I have ran vaccination clinics in the armed forces. I have advanced IV skills and make good competent clinical decisions. 

I have been employed in the clinical setting since 16 years of age. I have been exposed to a very broad
range of environments and specialties. I am a competent scrub & circulating nurse across a broad range
of specialties including ophthalmology, urological, orthopedic & spine, general, obstetrics and gynae and
ENT.
I am competent in advanced airway management and emergency airway procedures. I am a very well
rounded OR nurse with years of leadership experience.
I enjoy my profession and strive to be an ambassador for patient care.
I am a strong personality who can coordinate & delegate duties and responsibilities. I have excellent
communication skills and initiative. I am calm and clear sited in times of stressful situations whether it be
clinical or administrative. I am well known with my peers as someone who brings forward valuable
opinions.
I hold teaching and assessing certificates and I enjoy educating and mentoring
I spent a total of 9 years in the military as a combat medic and nursing officer. During that time I was
deployed for medical service numerous times including Oman and Iraq during the 2nd Gulf War

I live with my wife & teenage son and daughter. We have a Coon Hound, Grey Hound and a
Pomeranian. Two budgies and a cat.
During my time off I like to ski, mountain bike and work out.
