About Danah Al-Abed:

Danah currently works as a Civil Engineer in Training at Jewell Engineering. Danah has been involved in many projects where her main responsibilities include report writing, feasibility studies, grading, street design, water and sewer layout, and stormwater management. Her proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Civil 3D design allows her to have a thorough understanding of industry standards and practices in Canada, including those set by ASTM, CSA, and MTO. Danah’s day-to-day tasks allow her to utilize her excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills to further enhance her ability to think creatively and strategically. Combined with her passion and growing understanding of Municipal Engineering, Danah would like to assume more responsibilities and envision herself an asset at your company.

-Association of Engineer in Training in Ontario 

-Strong knowledge of Civil Engineering Standards  

-Proficiency in report writing  

-1+ years working experience around civil engineering underground work design 

-Bachelor's degree of Civil Engineering (Structural and Geotechnical) 

-Working knowledge of MTO, CSA, CCIL, and ASTM procedures 

-Solid background in design software CAD-3D, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, 

-Advanced knowledge in Microsoft office
