• Investigating the hydro-ecological impacts of seismic exploration lines using field data, modelling, and statistical analysis in R to see if they meet provincial and federal regulations.
• Designing and executing a soil sampling scheme on seismic lines to provide data for the Carbon Budget Model for the Canadian Forestry Sector (CBM-CFS3). 
• Assisting the remote sensing team to plan, organize, and carry out UAV-LiDAR data collection campaigns.

• Water sample reception, pre-processing, and analysis using ICP-MS/MS, ion chromatographs, and Picarro stable isotope analyzers.

• A multi-disciplinary research project working with NRCan to characterize the impacts of seismic exploration lines (linear forest cut lines) on the hydrology and vadose zone for a west-central Alberta watershed.
• Monthly field work involved the collection of near-surface water and soil samples, and the deployment and continuous monitoring of soil water and weather stations.
• Used numerical modelling to simulate the impacts of seismic exploration lines on the annual water budget for a watershed.
• Published as a co-author in the Journal Science of the Total Environment.
• Currently awaiting manuscript publication in the Journal of Hydrology: Regional Studies.
