I have over 8 years of experience in data and analytics, with a strong focus on developing data-driven solutions that drive impactful business decisions. Throughout my career, I’ve built and optimized scalable data pipelines, implemented machine learning models, and leveraged advanced analytics to improve operational efficiency and decision-making. I've worked across diverse industries, including healthcare, energy, and utilities. Most recently, as Head of Data and Insights at ProVela, I led the development of IT and data infrastructure, implemented machine learning initiatives to improve patient care, and ensured strict data privacy compliance.

Prior to that, I was a Senior Data Scientist at ScottishPower, where I managed a team, developed upskilling programs, and led a successful migration to Snowflake, which significantly improved our data access speed and business operations. I have a strong technical background in Python, SQL, Snowflake, SAS, and JavaScript, and I’m passionate about mentoring teams and turning complex data into actionable insights. I’m always driven by the desire to learn and solve problems, and I thrive on delivering meaningful results in every role I take on.

I hold a degree in Astrophysics, which has given me a strong foundation in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and working with complex data. In addition to my academic background, I’ve earned certificates in SAS, Python, and Snowflake, which have equipped me with the technical skills necessary to excel in the field of data science and analytics. These certifications have helped me develop expertise in building scalable data pipelines, performing advanced statistical analysis, and optimizing data solutions, all of which have been pivotal in driving successful projects throughout my career. My educational journey has fueled my passion for continuous learning and applying data to solve real-world problems.
