I worked for more than five years as a PCA/HCA at Regis Nursing Home, Australia.

Now, I am working as a caregiver with Exceed Care. 

My roles and res[responsibilities are:

• Assist residents with all ADLs including feeding, showering, dressing, toileting
• Continence and catheter management
• Communicate and work in health or community services
• Hoist and sling management
• Help with preparing meals and drinks
• Bowel care management
• Assist resident with a range of motion exercise
• Tidying and bathroom cleaning, Bed making, including sanitizing activities.
• Provision of quality resident care as per the individual resident care plan 
• Documentation or progress notes of resident outcomes clearly on Autumn care
• Assist Dementia residents with extra care, provide dignity, privacy and respect
• Demonstrated initiative and ability to work under supervision
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality in all matters 
• Proven ability to be self-motivated and to promote a positive work environment 

I have done my Certificate III  in Individual Support and Community Support (HCA/PCA)  from ALACC Institute.
